Cheat Codes: Backlinks
Backlinking - The Coveted Edu Link

Shane the OG coming to you with a back linking tip for the much desired.edu link to your lead gen. So here's a tip, some of you may already know about this, but if you don't, then this is a great one to have in your, in your back pocket to throw out your lead gens because it looks totally natural.

so if you, I just did a quick search for university of Tampa. Here's your keyword phrase: employee discount program. Okay. You may have to do a variation of this, some different, you know, universities we'll call it different things, but ultimately what you're trying to get to is this discounts. This is what it is, perks and discounts, benefits, human resources, USF.

So what I would do is write down whenever you come across these keywords and keyword phrases and what they're putting in the title description, write those down, or put them in a, you know, in a word doc or Excel. Keep those on hand as you come across these, because these are gonna be very, very helpful. So I already have an open, so I'm just going to click on it. So here you go. Perks and discounts, employee perks, and discounts. They offer them to their employees and faculty and staff, new vendors. Here's the form requests are reviewed and added to the website on a quarterly basis. There you go.

So you may have to wait for, for some of these for a little bit, but you may not. Here's the, here's the, uh, Oh, I didn't change that. Here's the form. So basically you just fill out the information. Not very much. I mean, how long would this take you two minutes? And then I had already opened this.

This is another good place to look. I went back over here and I clicked on employee perks and discounts. Okay. So why did I do that? Well, other people that are going and doing this are probably the legit businesses. You're, you're legit as well, but I'm just saying brick and mortars and whatnot. If you, if you go down here and look at these different ones,

you know, and obviously some of these are our big, big outfits, and they're going to have ton of stuff. But if you click on some of these like factory interiors, all right. Cruz towing four-wheel online. Like these are probably more localized, but they're probably also going to have some probably pretty juicy links that you can, you can peel off and go and swipe as well.

So that's another tip there for you, for getting the.edu, the coveted.edu link.

DoFollow Backlink Hack

All right. Do follow back link, hack, pay attention people. This is a good one. So I've been doing SEO for a long time. And as everyone that's been in this game that has clients, we are trying to rank them. And if you can rank them and if they are getting leads to their business, then you will keep them as clients.

And the revenue continues to roll in. So getting backlinks for having a backlink strategy as a part of every person's SEO, overall outlook, that's what we're doing. We're trying to get people ranked. So I think one of the biggest issues people have with backlinking is, well, where do I go? How do I make sure that the back links are relevant to what my client's doing?

How do I connect it to a strategy that keeps me focused with an offline connected to an online strategy? So every city in every state in the union will have boards that have events. These events could be anything from, uh, I don't know, you could do a cooking class in a restaurant. If you want to make,

learn how to make fajitas. For instance, you could go and take a survival course. If you wanted to learn how to make fire or make shelter, and you would pick a, a host that would host the event locally, and then you would have paid tickets or, and it would be marketed through these websites. And the neat thing is,

is those websites are very aged. And a lot of these cases, they're aged domains and they, most of them will send you a do follow back link to your website that you're trying to market. This is the list it's over five hundreds by state. It's just huge. This list that you continue to go through and you can see over here all listed as do follow links.

And there's a couple of no-follow, but most of them are, do follow links. And so you have these great link juice, capabilities with these, with these backlinks. If you want this list, you're going to go to event back links.com. Go ahead and put that in your phone right now for later. So you can buy it simply,

you know, you download it. And it's $11 and 97 cents totally worth. It made a ton of money from this. Um, it's they should honestly be charging a lot more anyway, 11 bucks. Get it. And here we go. So I'm going to pick just any old link. I already got it up here. Here it is.

This is a event board in Bellevue, Washington. You put in all your information up here and you just kind of go through it. You name the event. This is going to be just kinda like a SEO marketing, of course. Okay. Yeah. Most, every category will have the same categories on all these different websites. So I usually pick lectures and workshops,

but you can pick whatever you want, depending on how you're marketing the event and who it's for. Um, you want to pick the host order organization and the venue. Usually it's going to be the same thing. So I have the melting pot. So You go to, where is it at the melting pot? So you want to add these two to be the same?

The other host organization is going to be a zoom virtual meeting room. This is great, especially right now with COVID is you can make these meeting rooms virtual. Now this was always something that you could do. And the whole point is to make the meeting virtual and the actual venue is not real. It's not really going to be at the melting pot restaurant,

but the point is, it's a virtual meeting room and we'll get to that in the, in the, the content, the contents here below right here in the description. All right. So you're going to put in the location of where the melting pot is that all will preload, but I usually change the contact number to my own number or a number that I control.

Again, this will all be preloaded. I changed the email. I suggest getting an email address. That's separate from your main email. Again, my phone number, and then here is either my domain that I'm marketing for myself or a client's domain depends on what you want, but that's where you put the event website right here. Again, start time and time.

I'm going to just, Just make this. It doesn't matter, but I'm going to make this. I think I chose that Anyway. So I'll preload it and then, upload an image for the event. Just you can probably find anything on Google and just upload an image that has to do with your event. Just make sure the images is copyright free,

and then you're going to come into the event description. So I'm going to bring over to my zoom room. Zoom is a great place. You set up all the meeting, credentials, the date, everything like that. And then you just simply copy your personal room, uh, information. So let's see here. I'm just going to grab this, copy it.

And then I'm going to come in here and I would go paste. And then I can add, edit this to SEO, Local we're local SEO for local businesses. There's my media need security waiting room and join URL. Real simple. I go ahead and hit, submit, submit my event. And that's all in there. You do this as many times.

You want there's 500, there's more than enough back links, and you can continue to do them every single time. You have an event that you want to do for a different client. You could even make them, events that are recurring. It's, it's a killer. This is just a killer technique to get, do follow back links. Because as you know,

they're not easy to get. They can be very spendy to get, and this is free. Just takes a little bit of elbow grease, a little bit of work, and you're going to have as do fall back links for clients as you can possibly think of. And the neat thing is, is you're also going to be doing a class in a lot of these cases where you're the host of the class and you're coming to connect with other local businesses in other cities in other States that could potentially become new clients as well.

Link Outreach Hack

Hey, what's going on. So once you have your infographic or your graph or whatever Trojan horse that you're going to use, now, you need a way automated way to reach out to all these different tree service or niche relevant blogs or articles out there to try to ask for a backlink okay, this is just the link outreach hack. So, um,

first of all, I'm doing this for ebay.com and you know, our team is sending out emails. Um, you can only send about 50 emails per day from one Gmail account. Um, but you know, we have, we're sending it from, you know, like across five, over five 10 plus Gmail cons every day, 50 emails per day using mail merge.

So I'm going to show you guys, um, how we do that. Mmm. And so this is some of the stuff that's covered in my advanced SEO training, but I'm going to give you guys a quick rundown of how this works. So this is the sheet where my team is filling out different websites, that where we want to get our link from.

Um, and we have some metrics that we want to get as well, but you know, how we find websites that we want to get linked from first, one of the best ways is like you can look at other powerful sites that is in your niche. Um, and this is a top roofing site in Chicago, pull them up on H refs.

And you could see if you go to backlinks, you can see all the different places with the word roof in it is a relevant backlink where, and these are all places where you can go ask to, try to get a backlink as well. And remember, Citi is also a relevancy. So you can ask all the places where it has the worst Chicago in it.

Um, it's no wonder this place is ranked number one, because it's getting all of these relevant rank links to their site. Mmm. Take a look at this top link here. It has a dr of 83, you are 34. It's a very powerful site, has a lot of referring domains going to this article. So this is a very valuable link for this company.

I would definitely try to go get a link from them, but what you can also do is dig two levels deeper. So you can pull up this old house.com and the H refs, because it has dr. 83 as a, as a very authoritative site. You can also take a look at where all the places that this site is getting backlinks from.

Um, you know, um, what I did here, which I can show you is like without the, uh, this is a filter. So, um, this site has 38,000 backlinks put the word roof here and it'll filter out all those links, um, 3000 places where it has the word roof, um, somewhere in the link structure. So,

um, again, these are all places where you can go get backlinks as well. You can also do a Google search of an URL. Um, so am I calling and roofing? This will list all the sites with the word roofing in, um, but take a look at this home Depot article, highly authoritative article. It has 124 referring domains.

Okay. So this is an article that you can pull up that just the article itself, not, not home Depot, but you can just pull up this article and see where all those and H refs and see where all those links are coming from 51 backlinks. And so this, this is again, another really good places to go get links as well.

So, uh, once you find an article that you want to get a link, for example, this is, this is an article. Um, it has the word contractor in it, and it seems like a legitimate say here. So I'm going to, I need to try to get an email address of this author or somebody on this site that I can go ask and pitch,

uh, my backlink, um, offer. Uh, so immediately what you do is, you know, open up in a new tab, this author page scroll to the bottom of the bottom of the site, um, Facebook privacy policy, um, terms of service, which I opened up here. Facebook grab an article there, the author's page. You can grab this email here,

uh, privacy policy do a control F of the at sign, and you can see even more emails, um, same with terms of service. Now, what we, because we are sending us so many emails, we're going to pick like maybe top two, top three of emails that look legit, but if you're not sending out much emails, um,

and your offers are limited, feel free to go ahead and send to like five of these emails you find from that one source. That's fine as well. Once we have the email and the first name of the author, we're going to start listing it here. Um, and this formula, what this formula does is it'll trim the spacing. So sometimes when you're copying a,

an email, right, you might, you might like grab a space or something like that. And so this formula, this formula here, we'll trim that. So we'll put the email here and this formula here, we'll trim it. A Ray formula means it'll, um, the formula will be in this entire column. Okay. So what this formula does is it will check if the email on the trimmed email is valid or not.

So if it's not valid, the email's going to bounce, right? So when a Gmail account sends a bunch of emails and a bunch of them gets bounced, it's a negative hit to your trust factor. And so if the trust factor keeps going down, your email from that GML combo ended up in spam box more often. So, uh, we use a site called neverbounce.com.

We'll upload a CSV of all those email addresses that we found and we'll download the results. Uh, we'll upload the results to a different here. Okay. And what this formula does, it'll return, it'll, I'll show you, it's an array formula. So it's this entire column. It's a V lookup. So it'll look up this email on this column and it'll compare it with the values and this sheet,

which is urn, email validation here, and it will return to the second column. So it'll look up the email from the previous sheet. Look it up in here, anywhere in here, and it'll return the second value, whether it was valid or not. And this is how we filter out. And when we won't send emails to ones that are not valid,

um, first name we'll list. First name, the article, obviously, if there's a contact form, put the contact form. And when you send the first email and that you get no response, so you can go try the contact form as well. Let's just say, once you have 50 of these offers, two emails, okay, what you're going to do now is create a new file,

a new sheet, and create all these different Gmail accounts. Okay. And put 50 of those emails, um, emails here, if you have more than 50, put the next 50 and the new tab and a new Gmail address login to all these different emails, um, using a VPN, which changes your IP address. So we found that if you begin to send more than 50 emails from the same IP address,

Google was started blocking that as well. Same with, if you try to send more than 50 from one Gmail, it's a little too much Google doesn't like that. So, um, go create all these different emails, put it on different VPN, IP addresses and everything. Today you can put 50, you can send 50 from each email. So now what you do is,

um, in each email address, you need to create a draft draft email. This is what the mail merge will use. Um, Hey, first name. Hey, I was reading your article on this page and really thought it was great. We have an infographic that you might really like to add on your page in exchange. We'd also like a do follow back link.

If you only take paid links and let me know the pricing, if you do not take any link placement, no worries. Let me know either way, keep up the great work, talk to you soon, Arthur, and then my company name. Um, and then, so you now use, go to one of these sheets, go to ad-ons mail merge,

start mail merge, put your first name, and then choose that draft that, that I just read. And then you just hit send, and it'll automatically send to all these different emails and you do that. And then log off out of that. Gmail, go to your VPN, change your IP address, log into your next email, and then send the next 50.

And as you can tell on this sheet where keeping track of when we send the first email, the second, if, um, they say yes to that, then we have the second email that we send. And the third, if they don't respond to the first two email after a couple of weeks or so, we also do a followup on that.

Just this video alone should allow you guys to go out and go prospect for more backlinks every day, or just prospect, like for clients, for SEL deals or lead gen, I'm using the screencast videos to go go pitch business owners right now in my advanced SEO training, I have, um, more automated ways to go find more places to try to go get backlinks.

Um, but yeah, this, this right here that I showed you guys is, is very powerful, uh, enough to, I believe help you guys tremendously. So, yup.
